ERA Paper First Aid booklet available

The Paper First Aid booklet, prepared by a Working Group of the ERA Paper Commission, is now available in English, German and Italian. Purpose of the manual is "to offer first aid to continue a print job...to save time and waste".

The manual is intended for instant reference, and copies should be placed at every press control desk and every reel stand, and/or given to each shift leader of the press room and the paper store. In this way, if things go wrong with a job, the press crew can immediately check for recommendations from the paper suppliers, without having to wait for technical support.

Up to 20 copies will be supplied free to ERA members, who may purchase additional copies at € 5 each plus postage.
