Seminar “gravure at you fingertips” at Stuttgart University for media

The ERA seminar “gravure at your fingertips” was recently held again at Stuttgart University for Media (HdM)

Participants from gravure printers and suppliers attended the three-day course. As before, Prof. Reiser, head of the gravure department at Uni Stuttgart, conducted the course and gave the participants a comprehensive overview of gravure printing from the galvanics and engraving to the printing. The theoretical lessons were complemented with practical exercises at galvanic and engraving equipment. Stuttgart University is the only institute in Europe which has a complete gravure line from the cylinder production and engraving to the printing available.
